I realized that I missed something last month. Ron accepted a calling to be a senior service missionary, for the new Texas San Antonio South Mission. He is a technology specialist... which just means he is in charge of all of the cell phones for the missionaries. So basically, he is on call 24/7 for any phone issues. Bad connections, missed text messages, broken screens, change of sim cards. lol 😅😉All of that is a little difficult for him to navigate. We bought him a new phone and figured out how to connect his "maps" to the car, so he can get directions to the stake center. It's not very far away, but it is always a bit confusing for him. I think the longer he does this, it will become easier for him. We are also hoping that everything settles into a routine schedule for meetings for him to attend. (which just means there are days when he needs the car, and I don't have it.) Audrey gave him a new journal with "Give Me this Mountain" on the front and the mission's name on the back. Out stake president's wife was especially excited for him to have this calling. And the new mission president and his wife are super kind.
