Here is my Spring/Easter decor. I sent a baby gift to Alison, that was a ribbon blanket, three foxes, a couple of bibs, and some books. Some from Brown Baby Bird and some from Amazon. It took Ron a while to figure out the delivery photo that Amazon sent to his email 😁She thought that the colors were perfect for her baby decor. The baby is due any minute 👼. And it's Bluebonnet season in Texas. The Petes got a cute pic of Finn and the flowers.
Now I am not "making up stuff" but just posting really random pics together. lol 😉😎 No "main events" to record. The biggest thing for us that happened this week was getting the car in the garage. I had been slowly working towards that and my original plan for last week was to file a bunch of family history items so that Jaden could start scanning those for me, but when there was the forecast of a severe storm with possible hail, I decided to tackle the boxes in the garage instead. So, now my pile of family history papers in our bedroom is larger than before and still needs to be filed. I still have a few boxes in the garage to go through, but I made a huge dent in those. It's a good thing that we no longer have the suburban because the garage wouldn't have been large enough for it. (Someone is coming to build the storage shed in the back yard, this coming Tuesday. Then we will really be able to clean the garage out 😉) I found a cute cartoon about March Madness weather on Facebook. The Anderson boys participated in a state gymnastics meet and two of them are going on to a regional meet. Audrey received her "40 Year" book from Annie for her birthday. Mike went to Angola for a work trip and met up with a friend from when they lived there before. Alison is looking good and feeling pretty good... she expects the baby to arrive next weekend. My newest ribbon blanket set is called Watercolor Sea and comes with a super cute turtle.
Eli had his 12th birthday this month. Things were busy and we finally had a family dinner/birthday last Sunday at their house. He wanted steak and potatoes for dinner. Ashley brought cooked carrots and cantaloupe. I did salad and applesauce. Andersons ordered a cake from Costco. We will always tease Eli about the year, that we asked for a strawberry cake and thought it was awful. The next year, I did an ice cream sandwich cake, and his reaction was much happier. This year was chocolate and chocolate. He got a 3D printer for his birthday, for him and Sam to play with- lol 😉We ate dinner out on their back porch. Sometimes, the weather here is perfect, not too hot and not too cold.
I don't have very many decorations for March and St. Patricks day. I have looked for items... but there aren't very many cute things- lol. I am not ready to do Easter yet... so a bit of green and some artificial plants and some "bird things". I am not really an "artificial plant person", but a few here and there are okay... I am really not a "real plant person"- lol 😏 The red skirt and the turquoise top was another "make a pattern" project. They turned out better than I expected. Just a few things to finish up on those. The skirt looks kind of simple, but it was 24 small pieces to sew together. 😂The last pics are my newest Brown Baby Bird ribbon blanket sets. 2 finished (Owl Bicycle and Foxie. And Owl Bicycle and Owl.) I am just getting started on the "Watercolor Sea" with the cute turtle. My goal by Wednesday this week is to get my Brown Baby Bird taxes in the mail. That March 15 date always sneaks up on me.

"Today is transfers and I will be going to an area in Quito called Bellavista. I have been in Otavalo now for 4 months (3 transfers) and it has been an amazing time here. The members here are really awesome and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve here. I am going to miss the members here. Its a wierd feeling because its my first transfer in Ecuador and my first transfer was changing missions. But at the same time I am also excited to be able to see other areas of the mission."
"This week being the week of transfers on the mission is usually one of the hardest because you are thinking about what's going to happen, but this week I learned about being humble enough to go where God wants you to go. Each missionary has specific people and families they have to find and so every change has a purpose and so when we accept the change we submit our will to God. "
My post title came from Jaden's Facebook page 😉He also had Costa Maya, Mexico and Cozumel, Mexico pinned as locations. The Petes left last Saturday on a cruise and got back on Thursday. Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas. Finn stayed with us. He stayed downstairs and Gracie stayed upstairs... she was pretty desperate for her normal house and life back after a week- lol. I grabbed a few pics from Jaden and Hailey.
