Thanksgiving 2020

We had Thanksgiving dinner with the Petes and the Andersons. They all came out on Wednesday evening and stayed until mid day on Friday. Sam brought his big outdoor grill and cooked breakfast for both days. He also brought an air fryer and cooked the turkey outside. It was the best turkey ever! ;) Otherwise the rest of the food was the normal fare. We set up tables outside on the front porch. Trying to take advantage of that beautiful porch while we can. The only pics I got are tables, food, and a few people- lol. On Friday afternoon, Audrey helped Ron apply for a loan on the new house. (yep, I will explain this whole story in another post ;) For dinner on Friday we went to Bob's Burgers with Andersons. Good stop, on the way home for them, and not too far for us.

I will also add some Fall decor pics. Some of these, I plan to use later to market some of my Brown Baby Bird photos.

Batman Party for Luke

This years theme for Luke's birthday was "Batman". Including, decorations, games, pizza, gifts, and of course cupcakes. Us, the Petes, and the Andersons... the usual gang ;)

Mason's Baptism

On Saturday, November 14, Mason was baptized. Petes, Andersons, us, and a couple of families from the Pete's ward were there. There was also a live Facebook video, so other family members could watch. (That seems to be the norm for baptisms this year... another 2020 thing.) It was a great event... followed by ice cream at the Petes... before most of them had dinner. lol. The baptism was at 6 pm. Ron and I grabbed dinner before, but everyone else was too busy and rushed getting ready. Sam and Audrey did a great musical number, and Eli directed the singing. Here are a few pics.

The Shops of Bandera

The first week of November, I moved "Brown Baby Bird" into The Shops of Bandera. I told Ron I wasn't sure how this would go, but I am absolutely certain that I can't sell much with my merchandise sitting in my sewing room ;). I am actually writing this post on December 5, so I can say that I had a good month of November there. And when you add in my alteration invoices that I did at home...November was a great month. Anyway... I packed up all of my inventory, made a few more that where in progress, and made some new items for Christmas. Now, all I need is a website. I filed for a domain name a couple of weeks ago. That maybe part of my January projects.

Other Halloween

Here are the pics that I managed to grab from Alison and Mike... no others for this year. Halloween wasn't very fun, with the whole "covid thing" going on.

A Lion, A Witch, and a Wardrobe

Audrey had a PLAN for this year, and she went all out! Costumes for almost everyone...so we got some great pics. Earlier in the day we went to a hamburger place for lunch and then to go ride the small train, around the park near the zoo. Then dinner at Andersons, costume photos, and then trick or treating. (Papa and I didn't go on the trick or treating ;) It is a rare occasion that we go on lunch and other outings with the Petes and Andersons. They usually do those things without us. Maybe when we more closer we will do more of that.
