Here I am blogging about my blog book 😉😐 If you have been reading for a while, you know that this blog is "Baba's Journal" on an annual basis. All I can say is that I am including more stuff each year. This book is over 200 pages and cost over a $100. (Part of the reason I have more stuff is that I am getting posts from the kids and including those. Otherwise, our life is pretty uneventful.) haha But hopefully it will be well worth it to some future readers. I realize that I don't really need the printed copy, but I love having those. I love seeing the printed version. There was only one picture that didn't print well and that was the words to a song for my Fathers Day post. It is printed too small to read. Everything else turned out great. I learned a while back to put all of my text together and then follow that with pictures. That format works best when they are assembling the printed book.

Random Whatever
Every now and then you get a post of random stuff mixed together. This is it 😉
The weather last week was kind of rainy and cold. I missed several days of walking. (I started trying to walk between one and two miles every morning, starting in Sept. MOST days I go.) This week has been spectacular, for morning walks. The first picture is the view of our street from the window in my sewing room (upstairs). We have a bird feeder in the front, just outside of the window downstairs, near Ron's desk. Two pics... one of the bird feeder and one of the bird bathroom- lol. I really need to trim the bushes out front. They are going crazy. Three pics that Mike shared on Easter from where he was. A pic of Gracie and Kitty... both wanting the same blanket. I guess having the waded up blanket between them was enough of a buffer. One picture of my newest Easter tree decor. One picture of two taggie sets that a friend purchased for twins. One boy and one girl set. I love these together. Wizard Owl and Fox Baby. I shipped them to Waco this week. Cute pic of three young soccer friends. A couple of pics of the new shed. (I told Sam... that I say, "thank you" and "I am sorry" because he will have to clean that out some day.) There are things that went in there that aren't ever coming out again- lol 😂 But the garage is almost completely cleaned out. I was talking to Ashley and Daniel on Sunday evening about painting the walls and doing an epoxy floor in the garage. Ron went to a San Antonio FC soccer game with the Petes. (He got to go because Jaden was visiting his cousins.)
I warned you this was random stuff... but I am all caught up now 😉
Also for Easter
Here are a few of my favorite prints/artwork of Jesus Christ and the tomb for Easter. I ordered the print of Jesus Christ in the patchwork robe, after Ashley shared in it a post. I need a few photos around the house.
The Best of Easter
Almost everyone got great family Easter pics, except us and Petes.. I never think to get a picture of us 😕I got a picture of my Easter dinner table and my dessert though- lol. We had dinner with the Petes and the Andersons. We are so blessed to live near them. We had lots of food choices. Ham, cheesy potatoes, sweet potatoes, (copycat Olive Garden) salad, chickpea salad, cooked carrots, fruit, rolls, and donuts. (Jaden was missing because he is with cousins.) Carrie and the boys had just gotten back from a spring break week in Spain and France. Mike was still there and heading for Africa this week, for work. Simms had a busy Sunday with church and taking meals to ward members and then having a group dinner. The weekend was pretty busy for the Petes and the Andersons too, with ward activities and family service. And of course, the Christiansens are amazing, with Bethany being just one week old and they still went to church and got some great family pics. Our family is truly blessed and Easter is a special time of year. Spring is when the "Eve tree" at Andersons blooms. The last picture of Alison and Bethany is my favorite picture of the weekend!!

Bethany Ann
The Christiansen baby girl arrived last Sunday afternoon. She is beautiful.
Here is what Alison shared on FB.
"Happy Good Friday! 🌟 We have had a wonderful Holy Week, starting with the best Palm Sunday ever. After a long week of stop and go birthing waves, our little girl finally made her own triumphal entry on Sunday afternoon. We are excited to announce her birth and welcome her to our family. Meet Bethany Ann. She is so full of peace, light, and gentleness. Her birth was smooth and beautiful, and we are both healthy and healing well. We are so blessed to have her with us! My heart is so full! 💓 We have had an extra special week of bonding and celebrating the final week of Christ's life on the Earth. We are so grateful to all who have supported us with food, love, and help this week! We hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend!!! 💕 Many more pictures to come..."
