More Emmy/Dallin

Okay... I'm getting the hang of taking pics. on the phone and then posting. No stopping me now :) The last three pics. are why we aren't going outside today.

Baby Emmy- 10 Days

This is Baba playing around with my phone. It is a snowy Sunday in Utah. Life has turned into the basics like laundry, eating, and sleeping. Wednesday was a good day we got all of the laundry done. Thursday was a good day because everyone took a nap at the same time :) We have gone out to the store a couple of times. There is a "Smiths" close by- it is like a super WalMart with groceries, clothing, home decor, and toys. On one trip there Al got to go shop the clothes while Emmy, Dalin and I cruised the rest of the store with a shopping cart :) Last night Ashley, Jaden, and Hailey came over and we made homemade pizza. We also had GREEN jello and GREEN limeade- that was the extent of our green celebration :) This morning we woke up to SNOW- that is "cruel and unusual punishment" on someone who has lived in Texas for 9 years :)

So...Emmy was born this morning and Alison already posted pics. to FB (what is this world coming to?? :) Here are four that I was able to swipe from her album :-)

Born at 4:47 am, 8 lbs. 14 oz., 21 inches long. Good job Al.

For those of you that follow- she is our 11th grand child- 2nd grand DAUGHTER.

Baby Emmy was born this morning!

All natural- no drugs, no big deal !? :)

The rumor is that "all is well". I'll post more details when I have them.

Towels

Here is my cute little towel cabinet, that I found on Monday. (I may not have seen this exact idea on line- but probably something similar.) It's a file holder- but it works perfect for small towels. Our upstairs bathroom is rather small and short on shortage space. This sits right outside the door in a small space between the bathroom and a bedroom. (Nothing like taking advantage of every inch of space :)

Now... if I only had some cute, soft, colorful, new towels. It would be even more perfect. (I am always torn between plain "white" that goes with any decor and going for some bright colors.)

Then... I might need a new color in the bathroom for those colorful towels.

We'll see where this goes- hehe.

Fun Thoughts

So... I am still playing around with "Pinterest"- I don't really know how to use it correctly yet- but I do know how to go grab fun things and repost them :) I'll try to get Nicki to show me the correct way to use it- until then, here are some fun thoughts. The last two are especially for Annie :-)

Actually...they had a birthday party for him last Sunday evening-
