The top picture is slightly deceptive, the reflection on the shower makes it look like there are two windows, but there is only 1.

The bunk room. (Our builder loves to show off this room. I think he is amazed that he was able to build what I asked for. The bottom "drawers" are either real drawers or 2 trundle beds. That part was built by the custom cabinet people, then our builder added the rest.

Bandera Easter

We had a fun, long weekend with Audrey, Sam, and the boys. They arrived late on Wednesday evening- so we had Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday together. The weather was okay- could have been a bit warmer and Sunday was a gray, cloudy day, but that didn't damper our fun.

It wouldn't be a Bandera Easter without a cowboy hat :)

I have had some cute Easter decorations out for about a month.

April 12/13 2014

Here are pictures from our weekend in Utah, for Evelyn's blessing. (Fun times with kids and grand kids). Ron went to Alison's on March 31. I went on April 12. Then we came home together on April 14. Ashley and Daniel and the kids came to Alison's on Saturday afternoon. We took everyone out for dinner on Saturday evening. Church was at 2 pm on Sunday. Then we had a big family dinner with all of Micah's family on Sunday evening.

April is a Special Month

Our yard now is dirt, rocks, trees, and wildlife...and it will stay that way. No grass to mow...pretty much just natural. We are going to try a few wildflowers and a few other plants, but rumor is that the deer eat almost everything that gets planted. So...my "April snapdragons" are on the front porch. These are for Arika, Dad, and Grandma Berling. (We'll see if anything wants to eat these) ;)
