Kerrville Splash Pad

On Thursday evening, Annie and I took the kids to Kerrville. We packed a picnic dinner and headed for the park and splash pad. It was a great evening of water and playing.

Simms Fun

On Tuesday, June 23, I took mom to a doctor appointment in SA. Ron took Annie and the kids to a cave near Boerne. We all met at What A Burger for dinner. On Wednesday, June 24, Ron and I took the kids to the zoo, while Annie went to the temple. It was a pretty hot day when we were at the zoo. Owen wasn't feeling very well. We saw as much as we could and then had pizza for lunch. Weston loved the pigs :)

Fathers Day 2015

On Sunday, June 21, we had a little Fathers Day celebration for Ron and Sam. The Andersons always come out for dinner on Sunday evenings. It was fun to have the Simms here too. Cherry pie for Ron and Chocolate cake for Sam :) Ron also got a double tube for the pool and river.

Friends From Houston Visit

Some of our good friends from Katy came to visit. They were on vacation in San Antonio and came out for lunch. They were our next door neighbors there in Katy, until they moved to a larger house on the south side of I10. It was good to see them and spend the afternoon together.

Back Home- June 16

I arrived home late on Tuesday evening, June 16. Ron, Annie, and the kids arrived late on Wednesday, June 17. I went to a funeral in Kerrville on Wednesday morning and then went grocery shopping. The sunflowers were going crazy at our house :)

Last Stop- Smithfield

So...the main reason for our last week of travel from Denver to Utah, was so that we could stay with the Pete kids, while Ashley and Daniel go ColorVibe. They left the kids with Alison and left their car in American Fork on Thursday. We were supposed to arrive late Thursday night, but finally made it in on Friday evening. On Saturday, we loaded up the kids and drove to Smithfield. Saturday evening the kids did a little playing out at the splash pad and play ground behind their apartment. On Sunday we all went to church. Ashley and Daniel arrived back on Monday afternoon. We all went bowling and out to dinner on Monday evening. Tuesday, was head-back-to-Texas-day. Our flight went from SLC to Phoenix. Where Ron got off the plane and got in the suburban with Annie and the kids. I flew to San Antonio- only to find a dead car at the parking lot. Took a few hours to get it jump started and running. I finally made it home late Tuesday night. Here are pics. from Smithfield.
