Colorado Visitors

Justin and Stephanie and the kids spent all day Sunday, July 31, driving to our house from Fort Collins/Denver. They arrived about 1:30 am on Monday morning. On Monday evening the Andersons came out for birthday cake for Justin. We had a quick couple of days of swimming, mule rides, river fun, and visiting with mom. Early, Wednesday morning, they headed back for an all-day-of-driving, again.

In the Yard

The last half of July was pretty uneventful. We tried to water the yard...if suffered pretty bad while we were gone. Everything survived...barely :) Finally, when the rains came (in August) things perked up pretty well. We bought some swings for the kids...although entertainment like that is pretty "old school"- lol. And of course, still pics of wildlife.

The Aquarium

Okay...last post from vacation. Our last activity in Utah was taking the Christiansen kids to the Aquarium. Can you tell that I love the penguins? Then on Thursday, July 14, we flew back to Texas and made an attempt at normalcy...or peaceful...or boring, whatever you want to call our life- lol.
