Boston in May

I am finally tackling all of my photos from our trip to Boston, in May. I had 273 pics to go through :) CAUTION- photo overload here :) We went to Boston with Sam, Audrey, the boys, and Sam's mom... for Sam's graduation from Bentley. We packed alot between Wednesday and Sunday- lol. Here is our list of activities... A Duck Tour bus, that goes on land AND water (including sites of downtown Boston), lunch at Brewers Fork, the USS Constitution Museum, Italian restaurant dinner, Paul Revere's bell tower, dessert at Mike's Pastry, Boston Tea Party Museum (including the tea room and the gift shop), lunch at the Flour Bakery, dinner at Legal Seafood, a stroll around city park, a visit to the Boston temple, breakfast at the "Pickle", graduation at Bentley U, pics of the house that we stayed in, and airport pics. I was amazed at how kid friendly the activities were. (of course our event planner ... Sam ... was choosing those) Sam's mom met us at the airport, and we rented two cars. The house had 3 bedrooms upstairs, two bathrooms, living, dining, and kitchen. The best part of the trip was not doing too many activities, so we could just take our time, and let the boys play and enjoy the museums. The weather was abit too hot for walking around very far, but we did okay. We ate some great food. Of course, the last event was Sam's graduation, on Saturday. Sunday was a travel day back home. (I decided that the reason for us to go was to help haul suitcases, car seats, stroller, bassinet, etc through the airports. lol) Remember, you can click on the pics and see them larger.

Mothers Day 2017

Good day here. I worked hard on some Mothers Day items for primary and sharing time. We went a bit early to church, so Ron could help me set up the TV. I showed a great music video, "Choose Him Again". We made Mothers Day cards. "I toadly love you". (I saw the frog stickers at the store and had to purchase them- lol) Ron packed up our lunch to have in the car on the way home. I cooked dinner and Sam did dessert. Eli and Noah were super cute with the flower bouquets that they picked out for GG and me. Ron hung some flowers out side. (Now we have "hanging deer food".) Ashley is busy with company at their house. She bought the "stuff" for french toast and Daniel and the "boys" fixed that for dinner. Nathan fixed eggs, bacon, and waffles for Annie. Alex fixed dinner. (She is going crazy, trying to ready for the England trip/move.) Alison and Micah made ice cream cakes, and were selling and delivering those. Mike pampered Carrie all day ;) Of course Audrey and Sam were with us. The first photo is the best one I got, from the whole bunch.

What Have I Been Doing...

since Easter?

Seems like not very much :) Other than cooking, cleaning, and laundry.  I captured a few pics here and there. I have had a couple of "projects"- lol. We are in a pretty sorry, sad, situation, where mom needs help to get to the bathroom. Her days consist of sitting in the recliner chair, with her feet up :(
As a result of that, someone has to be here 24/7. When Ashley wanted us to come and stay with the kids...Ron had to go alone. I put all of the Easter decor away. And put out some "bird egg" decor- lol. I wanted something that looked like Spring.  Actually, I really like the  pale turquoise color in my living room. I found a new "animals-in-a-boat" artwork for my dining room. Our front flower bed is looking pretty good... not professional landscaping, by any means, but not too bad. Lots of blooming Easter lilies, and even more blooming weeds! I have been working on some mothers day photos for primary. And I made a cute photo album of Hazel, for Ashley's birthday. And...I may be in trouble for this one...but I decided to clean out "Ron's Man Cave" while he is gone. There will be weeping and wailing over not being able to find anything :) But when it's time to put the pool cover away...he might say thank you ;) I am not finished cleaning and organizing yet...I included one pic of the "mostly finished" room... at least all of the dust, mud, grass, bugs, cat hair, trash and saw dust are gone!
