Just Desserts

We had a couple of fun desserts with the Petes and the Andersons. One evening, I had made little individual pie crusts. They put the filling they wanted, and then any of the toppings that they wanted.  Audrey had them make the famous snow global cookies. BIG frosted cookies with smaller cut outs. Lots of cookie, frosting, and sprinkles- lol. (Our dinner was also a pasta bar with various pasta and sauces. Also salad, and bread... and of course croutons.)

Puppy Dog Pals Party

You already know that when Audrey is in charge of the activities for a birthday party, it is endless fun and games, rolled into a scavenger hunt. Hazel's party was no exception to that rule ;) Puppy dog pals everywhere. The activities included... fun food items, a movie, bingo, making soap, bubbles, a gator ride to the river, coloring, puppy adaption, and puppy faces. Ashley made the cup cakes and the other fun printed decor. The gifts were the two puppy dog pals, a new baby doll, and baby bed/carrier, and all of the adapted puppy balloon toys. We also made good use of the "Up House" again. Jaden and Hailey were great sports to play with the younger kids. It was a fun day...the weather was perfect... for mid December.

Snow Fun

Ron and the kids had some fun in the front yard, in the snow. I didn't get very good photos... but he built a snow slide across the front yard and they went on their sleds. (When we went shopping on Monday, I bought new jackets and snow pants for each of them. I came pretty close on getting the correct size.) The trees with the snow and the lights were in the yard next door.
