On the Saturday that Eli had a gymnastics award banquet, Sam was out of town and Audrey was coaching soccer, so Ron and I went with him. It was a rather fancy event for kids of his age. One mom at our table keep reminding them of proper table manners. lol 😄 I got a few pictures to remember the event. I also added three pics that I grabbed from Audrey of the boys.

One Quick Post
One quick post of my non holiday decor 😉 I say non holiday because I just wanted something neutral for Spring/May. I got out my BEE items and a few other spring items. I couldn't go over board with decor and have a house full of kids here for a week. And if you look at the dates on these posts, you will see that I am publishing in June... trying to catch up for May. My non holiday decor is still out (June 18) but soon I will switch to Fourth of July. The picture of Nathan, is with one of my favorite photos from Sam and Audrey's wedding, of the four boys. Can you see that I might have a plan for that wall, with adding senior pics? 😉
Last Evening Together
Tuesday was our last evening together. Most of the kids went swimming at the pool near the Petes house. Ashley, Jaden, and I ran to the store to get food for one more group meal. Ashley's idea for food was fish tacos, to go with a scripture from Come Follow Me for that week. Then after dinner, we all went to Baskin Robbins for ice cream. It was amazing for Ashley to host that... last minute... at their house. Audrey and the boys came by briefly to eat, but then needed to head home early for school and tests the next day. On Wednesday evening, I took the Christiansens to the airport. They were going from 100 degree weather to 30 degree weather. Back to "quiet and boring" at our house... now the cats can come out of hiding- lol.
Ladies Lunch Out
On Monday, Audrey took the day off work and helped me plan a ladies lunch out... downtown San Antonio. The restaurant was called "Down on Grayson". Then we did a short tour of the Emma Hotel. It was fun, again, to have all of the girls here. It was an amazing day. In the evening, Alison and Micah took Annie to the airport and then they went out on a date to a movie. (Annie flew in on Friday evening and out on Monday evening... very quick trip for her. But we were glad that her family let her come 😉)
Mother's Day Sunday
It was awesome to have all of the girls here for Mother's Day and it was Ashley's birthday that day. I had rented a car for the weekend, so that us and Christiansens could be on separate schedules. We all went to the Valley Ranch Ward because Daniel was conducting and Ashley was speaking. That was at 9 am. By 10:30, us, Annie, and Christiansens went to our ward too. The special part of that was all of the ladies got to have desserts in the cultural hall for the second hour, because of Mothers Day. The primary was combined into Junior and Senior with the men in charge. They came in and sang to the ladies about half way through the hour. We grabbed a few pics at church and then got lots of pics at the dinner party at our house on Sunday evening. That was filled with food, gifts, decorations, cake, and 21 of us. 😉🍰 Dinner was pulled pork, mac n cheese, fluffy orange jello, salad, rolls, and dessert. What a great evening to have everyone together. Happy Birthday to Ashley. Last three pics are of a book that Annie made for me... from the song "I Will Be What I Believe", with a few extra verses and pics of each grand child. (I didn't take pics of every page- but you get the idea.) Then I also added a pic of a book that Jaden made for Hailey, for her birthday... a book about Finn.
