Simms Misc Summer Pics and Back to School
It took me so long to finish up our Yosemite trip, that now I am behind for the rest of August, September, and October. I've got a lot of ground to cover to catch up. I spent some time organizing my photos and trying to decide how to proceed. I have several random "summer" pics from Annie and then "Back to School" for them. The summer pics go all the way to Father's Day for Alex. And include a birthday pic for Weston and other activities that the kids were involved in, and a pioneer trek.

Tuesday, August 8- Check Out & Travel
Tuesday was everyone's check out day and travel. Simms left early, they had the longest drive to get home. Us and Andersons finished cleaning up and headed back to the Fresno airport. We had some extra time, for a long lunch near the airport. Petes and Christiansens checked out and then Petes headed south toward Santa Barbara and Oxnard. (Where they would spend a few days with Daniels brother and his family.) The Christiansens headed back to Yosemite for a few more stops and then headed east toward Utah. (That trip would also take them a few more days.) Here are a few fun pics from Petes and Christiansens.
Mariposa Grove
We didn't all go to Mariposa Grove together. Some went on Sunday evening and some went on Monday or other times. Ron and I went on Monday morning. That activity consisted of parking at the entrance, taking a shuttle bus in and then hiking for a short or medium distance. Everyone else had no trouble even doing the longer hike. The short hike was as much as Ron and I could handle 😉Here are various photos... not all taken at the same time.
