BABY Season

We have baby deer...baby birds...and baby turkeys!
(I am getting pretty good with the camera ;) )

Memorial Day Swimming

Here are a few fun pics of  swimming with the Andersons. They came out for Sunday dinner, then stayed the night. They put the boys to bed, then we watched "Lost in Space" until after midnight. I cooked breakfast, we had fun in the pool, then I cooked lunch. Eli wanted tacos. (even though that's not what I was originally planning, that's what I fixed for lunch.) We played a couple of games, then they had to head home. Ron and I ate leftovers for dinner. (I had Sam grill some chicken and salmon for Sunday dinner.) I did some house cleaning and laundry, then Ron took me to Sonic for dessert. (My favorite thing there now, is the vanilla waffle cone and he always gets a rootbeer float.) It was a perfect night for riding in the convertible. It was really quiet here in Bridlegate...and town was super quiet tonight. (after being super busy on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.) We are really spoiled, where we live!
(the first picture is what happens when you don't click the camera fast enough- lol.)

May 17th...

at the temple with John and Debra. We met them there at 9. Then they took us out for lunch, for our anniversary.

Mothers Day at the Andersons

Mothers day this year was a bit unusual... Audrey was in Ireland... so I told Sam that we would bring dinner to their house. Dinner was "oven chicken tacos", salad, fruit, rice, chips and since Sam said they had ice cream... I took ice cream CONES for dessert. The boys had special chairs for me and Ron, a treasure map on the front door, to find my gift, and a bouquet of roses. My gift was a new game, called "Catch the Fox". The boys wanted to keep the game at their house, but Sam told them that I needed to take it to my house- lol. Eli told me they were the best tacos ever :)

One More Item from Denver

Mom had tons of ear rings, jewelry, and necklaces. I packaged it all up in little zip bags and let the girls have a jewelry party...taking whatever they liked. Daphne was super cute trying things on :)

May 2018 Denver 4

On Sunday afternoon we had extra time before Gary and Quin got home from church. I got some pretty pictures of the temple. Lots of tulips! We had dinner with Gary and Quin and Doug. Annie was with us too. We took Ashley to the airport early afternoon. Doug took Alison and Micah to the airport...in time for a 3:30 and a 4:30 flight. (Alison going home and Micah going on a business trip.) On Monday morning, Annie went for a run, and I went for a walk. We had lunch with Sharon Jones that day. Then took Annie to the airport and had dinner with Carla/Steve Downey and Peggy Ball. That day we drove the entire toll road loop around Denver...arriving back at Gary's about 10:30 pm. On Tuesday we had lunch in Berthoud with Liz. Dinner in Longmont with John and Angela. Wednesday afternoon we headed back to Denver...dinner with Savages in Parker. Dessert with Doug in Westminster. Thursday was our "get back home" day ;) Great trip... just too much sitting and eating- lol. Good to be back home...in my own bed.

May 2018 Denver 3

Saturday evening, we planned to have dinner at the Legacy Ridge Grill... for 25 people. Sam and Audrey made all of those arrangements. That included our family, John/Angela, Enola/Jaxon, Justin/Stephanie/Jon/Daphne, and President/Sister Savage. This restaurant was part of the Legacy Ridge golf course and not busy that evening, plus we had an entire room to ourselves. Another great family time. Dinner was two pasta dishes, salad, vegetables, bread... and birthday cake for Ashley.
