A Few Other Fun December Pics

A few other pics that probably could have fit into another post... but here they are in random order.

Christmas Afternoon

Here are a few pics from Christmas day. Ron and I had a quiet morning and early afternoon. The Andersons and the Petes stayed home for Christmas morning "stuff". When they came out, late afternoon, we opened gifts. Then had dinner, and then just "hung around" ;) I didn't get very many photos, and the ones I got are not very good. I had all of our gifts under the tree, with a number on them, and paper ornaments with each name on the front and then the number of the package on the back. We went to random order... and Mason was the very last one.

Christmas Cookies

Early in December, I made three batches of cookies that lasted for three events, including the ladies lunch in BGR, the ward Christmas party, and another Sunday dinner. Ron also made snicker doodles to take to Junction, to give to people there, that he and brother Maynard went to visit.

Christmas Eve at Andersons

We went to Andersons for Christmas Eve. The Petes were also there. Fishers were going to come but their kids were sick. Sam cooked his "prime rib" dinner. Ashley brought some side dishes, and I brought dessert. Since everyone asked for different kinds of pie, I made four varieties ... and made them small. There is a cute picture of Audrey in her "Sam apron" with her new hairdo! The kids dining table transformed into the "craft table". Then the cutting, and gluing began... ending up with puppets of the Christmas Carol story. Then we had a "cousins gift exchange". Some of my photos are abit blurry... it is hard to photo "moving" objects/people ;)

Christmas Cards

I managed to get our Christmas cards out about a week before Christmas. (Most years, I am late on those.) ;) Here are the two photos that I used for that ... and one that I only thought about using- lol.
Ashley took the pics for me, one day when they were at our house. I told her I couldn't find much "of us".

Jaden and Hazel Birthday Party

On Sunday, December 15, for our normal Sunday-Thompson-Pete-Anderson dinner, we had a birthday party for Jaden and Hazel. It was funny... because Hazel got a big cake with little candles, and Jaden got a couple of pieces of cheesecake bars, with tall candles. Hazel wanted a "frozen cake" ;) I had little Christmas crafts, ornaments, and cookies for the kids to work on before dinner. It was a fun evening. I think Jaden also got some birthday activities on Saturday and Monday. We gave Hazel the white rocking chair and Andersons gave her the cute pig. We gave Jaden a light box, to use to trace pictures and other projects.
