I made dog blankets for the Simms and for our neighbors this year. The grandkids all get their own personal drink cup... as soon as they come in the door. All different colors... no names on solo cups. 😉And I have a little gift and the "favorite Christ picture" books for just the girls. I found a cute tin to put the Christmas cards in at Homestead, Simmons sent us a cute ceramic bell and Ron and I got a couple of cute ornaments from Primary.
Here are just a few pics from birthdays for Jaden and Hazel. Hazel did some fun things on her birthday, that we didn't participate in. We took the Petes out for dinner on Jaden's birthday. Had family dinner and dessert on Sunday evening. Us and Petes and Andersons went to "Chicken and Pickle" on Monday evening.
I have been working really hard on our house for over a month, to be ready for guests. I got the extra bedroom all set up. I purged my Christmas decorations and only kept what I loved. (Which is still almost too much for me.) I got our bedroom carefully decorated and included a "puzzle table" there. I found the perfect braided mats for my dresser and a couple of cabinets there. Got some new pillows for the bed. I did some organizing in the closets to make them more useful. And we got some lights and a couple of "blow ups" for the yard. The house looks amazing.
Eden celebrated her third birthday in November. Such a cute girl. I had to get pics from Alison.
We had an amazing Thanksgiving meal at Andersons house, also with the Petes. Sam, air fried the turkey. It was the best turkey ever 😉I didn't get very many good pics. Jaden took a picture of Ron and I to use for our Christmas cards.
