May 2018 Denver 1

I am going to do several smaller posts about our trip to Denver... instead of one giant one ;) This first one is some of the head stones from the cemetery and then pictures of places from our past. Homes and the church that we were married in 42 years a go. We drove by where my family lived in Broomfield (I was there through fourth grade, then we moved to Berthoud). We also drove by our second house in Berthoud, the elementary school and the church where we were married. Then later in our trip, we went to have lunch with Sharon Jones and saw our house next door to her, there in Aurora. I should try to hunt down the old, original pics, and post them here with the new ones. Everything in the Denver/Berthoud area has changed so much, we hardly recognize the places we used to live.

Primary Items

Here are a couple of things that I did for Primary, at church. One is the building blocks for the gospel... Christ's time and our time. The other is the Mother's Day gifts for the children to give their mothers. I love how the little thumb print magnets turned out.

Good Friends

We have some good friends that live near us. We love to hang out with them. John is an awesome cook. We love it when we are invited to dinner ;) Two years ago he came to our house at Christmas as Santa's helper to deliver gifts to the grand kids. This month he was baptized as a member of our church. Great blessings... and we look forward to the future with them.

Random Easter Decor

Just a few random pics from Easter that didn't fit into the other posts :) Some of this is how my house looked, before anyone arrived- lol.

Easter at Our House

It was great fun to have the Andersons and the Christiansens at our house for Easter. (It was also General Conference weekend.) Lots of food and fun. Great cousin time together. Including dinners outside, Sunday morning breakfast, egg hunt (we hid over 150 eggs with coins inside), Easter baskets, and gator rides (and of course watching General Conference in between all of the fun :)
