Everyone Go Back to School

I had to go out on fb and grab photos from all of the kids for this post. Here are the great back to school photos for this year. I wish I had thought about doing a post like this sooner. This will be my first book to include pics like this. Okay... let me see if I can get the line up correct-
Nathan 10th, Jaden 9th, Jared 8th, Nicholas 7th, Hailey and Owen 5th, Ryan and Weston and Eli and Dallin 3rd, Emmy 2nd, Noah and Mason and Savie 1st, Evie Kindergraten, Ashton Pre School. Luke and Hazel not in school yet.

Our Newest Addition

We can't come up with a name. He has a giant white, cinnamon roll swirl, on each side. He started out very cautious and skinny... now he is fattened up abit and pretty friendly. (at least to Ron) And he is a "load mouth". lol

We Survived the Summer ;)

It is now the 22 of September, and pretty much my life has turned upside down during the past 7 months. By now we have settled into life again- lol... although different than what I expected. Ron seems to have "relearned" some things, and he has settled into a pretty simple life. He does whatever he wants, or whatever he thinks about, and I do everything else- lol. About the first of July he started exercising again, which is a good thing. (Makes me nervous... but I will live with that ;) ). He exercises, looks at email, takes care of most things on his computer, sits with the cats, reads his book, stays up late, and doesn't sleep well. He has had a nasty cough for the past 5 weeks.

Minecraft Birthday Party

On Saturday, August 31, everyone met us in town for the annual Bandera, LaborDay, Longhorn, Parade. Then in the afternoon we had a fun Mine Craft birthday party for Alison, Noah, and Mason. Again... aunt Audrey, was the activity planner. My only assignment was "the cake". Audrey had sent me a picture of  cake that was brownie, chocolate cake, blue jello jigglers, and rice krispie treats. Since it had no instructions... I had to just make up something from looking at the photo. I did pretty good- lol. There were fun activities both inside and outside. Jaden helped with the decorations and setting up the outside game. Fun "cousin time" to the max... including the Christiansens. (On Saturday morning my house was absolutely spotless... remember we thought we had a showing at 11 am... but that got canceled. Anyway... it didn't take long for my clean house to go crazy- lol.)

August Events

The first thing that happened in August was the Pete's closed on their house. So they moved out of our house ;) I spent a week cleaning and washing bedding... then we relisted our house. This time with River Realty, here in Bandera. We came down a bit on the price and we had one little nibble- someone scheduled a showing on Saturday 31... but then canceled at the last minute. August 15-19, us, Andersons, and Petes spent a long weekend in New Braunfels. I had booked three rooms there at the Worldmark New Braunfels. August 28- September 2, the Christiansens were here. On Thursday they just hung around with us, on Friday they hung around with Ashley and the Andersons. On Saturday, we went to the Bandera Longhorn Parade, and then had another epic birthday party. This one for Alison, Mason, and Noah. I will do the New Braunfels weekend and the birthday party as separate posts.
