Easter dinner was at our house. I made turkey, ham, salad, sweet potato casserole, and crackers & cheese. (The cheese and crackers were the little yellow chicks) I also made a small Easter "bowl" of treats and candy, for each of the kids. Sam made his famous dinner rolls and Audrey made her famous orange fluff Jello. Ashley brough carrots and dessert. By accident we ended up with almost all of the side dishes that were "orange"- lol. Audrey planned an evening, glow-in-the-dark, egg hunt for the kids. The eggs each had a small glow stick in them and a piece of paper with a "letter". The letters spelled out words for prizes... like "puzzle". Whoever completed the word with the last missing letter, got the prize. Of course, everyone wanted the "CASH" prize and there was some extra scheming to try to get that. As it turned out, one of the eggs was lost, with the last "S" letter in it. (I found it in the yard a couple of days later after we had a hail and windstorm.) There were also confetti eggs to break on each other. The last picture was after Audrey got home that evening. She actually worked on making the bread while at our house. Anyway... it was a fun evening. We tend to take for granted the Sunday evenings that we spend with the Petes and the Andersons. We are always missing everyone else.
