Micah picked us up from the SLC airport on Monday evening, November 22. We met Alison and the kids at a hamburger place for dinner. Between Monday and Thursday, we did some shopping, some cooking, had Eden's birthday party, and went to a movie. We loved seeing their new house. (They moved in there in September.) The plan for Thanksgiving was having most of Micah's family, there at the house for dinner. I made two pies and Alison made a salad... all of the other food "showed up" 😉 There was about 34 people. Alison and Micah had come up with a seating arrangement and tables and chairs. Lots of fun cousin time for the kids. I didn't take a lot of pictures of the house... just a few of my favorite things 😉 Some fun pics of the kids and pics from Thanksgiving dinner. (I already posted Eden's birthday party pics.) I only got food pics of the dessert. Dallin made the tray of cookies. After all of the family left, after dinner, we were sitting in their living room, and Alison said something about wanting the Christmas tree up. So Micah went to the storage room and got it out 😂😁 The last picture of the tree was one that Alison posted right before Christmas. Let the December fun begin! We flew back home on Friday, November 26.

Other Random Pics from Thompsons
Here are a few other pics from Mike and Carrie. Some of these could be November and some could be December. Nicholas loved playing on a Water Polo team. Their new dog is named Snickers. (I didn't get any other pics of their house).

Thanksgiving Trip Part 1
On Thursday, November 18 we flew from San Antonio to San Francisco. We spent Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with Mike, Carrie, and the boys. On Friday, it was grand parents day at Ryan's school. (which we weren't expecting). We watched him do a "fun run" and then we visited his classroom. This was our first trip to see them in their new house. Their backyard and their neighborhood are amazing. We went out to eat at an Olive Garden on Friday evening. On Saturday, we went on a drive to see the Golden Gate Bridge and a little town called Sausalito. We had lunch at a cafe there and did alittle shopping. Ryan had an indoor soccer game that evening and we went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. The Simms also arrived early evening and went to dinner with us. Sunday morning we all went to church and then had lunch together. The Simms headed back home late afternoon. For a brief time on Sunday evening, we went to visit the Longhursts. (We were friends with them when we lived in Aurora, and have kept in touch with Christmas cards since then. They were excited when Mike and Carrie moved into their ward. As soon as Mike was introduced, they thought he was our son.) On Monday, we flew from San Francisco to Salt Lake City. (I didn't get any pics of the indoor soccer game or the Mexican restaurant.)

Eden's Birthday
Here are more pics of Eden's birthday. We didn't get to see her since she was born. We got to be there for her first birthday though. (And we got to enjoy the Christiansen's new home) Alison stayed up late doing all of the decorations. Happy First Birthday to Eden. Such a cute girl.
