On Thursday, November 18 we flew from San Antonio to San Francisco. We spent Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with Mike, Carrie, and the boys. On Friday, it was grand parents day at Ryan's school. (which we weren't expecting). We watched him do a "fun run" and then we visited his classroom. This was our first trip to see them in their new house. Their backyard and their neighborhood are amazing. We went out to eat at an Olive Garden on Friday evening. On Saturday, we went on a drive to see the Golden Gate Bridge and a little town called Sausalito. We had lunch at a cafe there and did alittle shopping. Ryan had an indoor soccer game that evening and we went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. The Simms also arrived early evening and went to dinner with us. Sunday morning we all went to church and then had lunch together. The Simms headed back home late afternoon. For a brief time on Sunday evening, we went to visit the Longhursts. (We were friends with them when we lived in Aurora, and have kept in touch with Christmas cards since then. They were excited when Mike and Carrie moved into their ward. As soon as Mike was introduced, they thought he was our son.) On Monday, we flew from San Francisco to Salt Lake City. (I didn't get any pics of the indoor soccer game or the Mexican restaurant.)
