New Old Bathroom

My old bathroom is looking pretty new. I think in a previous post I mentioned that I have most of my decorating finished downstairs... it was time to start upstairs 😉. My plan has been to paint the accent wall that Daniel did. Put new floor and toilet in my bathroom. Do a couple walls of wallpaper. (there is a peel and stick type that is popular now.) And paint the cabinets in the master bathroom. So... I have been "hunting" for paint colors, flooring, and wallpaper. The lady is scheduled to come and paint cabinets mid May. Some of the wallpaper should arrive any day. Daniel put the flooring  and new baseboards in my bathroom and helped Ron put a new toilet in. I did a new little shelf above the toilet, put some new pics on the walls, and bought a black shower curtain rod. I love it. When I posted pics on Facebook, a lady commented that a black faucet would be perfect. I am saving that suggestion for later, when we replace the counter top... or have it refinished. (But probably replace it. It has a pretty big chip in it near the sink.) The last five pics are the BEFORE ones.

Brown Baby Bird

I gave my notice to The Shops of Bandera that I would be moving out the end of April. (That was today) Ron went with me and helped me load up. We also went to the Bandera Bank and closed the accounts there. I think our trip stirred up all sorts of memories for Ron. He also mentioned on the way back... "Well, that closes the Bandera saga". I am planning to set up an Etsy shop and try to sell online, as well as at Homestead Handcrafts. I actually had a pretty good month in Bandera. They will send me my last check in the mail. It will be almost enough to cover my stuffed animal order that I just placed 😉👍 My racks from there fit well into the closet off of my sewing room. It will be fun to have some inventory here at the house and try the Etsy thing. I also have a cabinet in our bedroom now that has my stuffed animals in it. I made a set this month with a licensed Harry Potter fabric and an Owl. It turned out super cute. It was kind of a request from a lady in the ward. She purchased one and another lady purchased one right away. I bought some more fabric and ordered some more owls... in case that is popular... appears to be.

Can't Miss A Little Easter Decor

Just my Easter decor. I love my little house and little areas to have cute things- lol. I forgot to take very many pictures 😉

Lookin Good Pics

Or should I say lookin good people. A few pics that I gathered up from Carrie, Annie, Ashley, and Audrey. The one of Carrie and the boys is Easter. The others were just some time this month. Nathan in his new suit... looks like a missionary 😉 Hazel and Hailey in their Sunday best. Nathan and his friends ready for Prom. Sam and Audrey on a date.

Easter Dinner at the Pete House

Of course us, Andersons, and Petes gathered for Easter dinner at the Pete house. Complete with a spoiled bunny! 🐰 Dinner included ham, "all rotten" potatoes 😉, green beans, orange fluffy jello, a couple of other salads, rolls, cupcakes, and "bird nests" 😉 You might be able to tell that I have figured out how to save pics from Instagram. (the ones with a caption from Ashley.) Even Jaden and Hailey participated in an egg hunt. Audrey planned one with puzzle pieces to put together with a clue where the candy was hidden. Somewhere along the way I have collected over 100 plastic Easter eggs. A couple of years they were filled with money. I had to do candy instead this year. But I lucked out getting Starburst and HiChews. The kids all like those. I also gave a few other Easter gifts... mostly games, puzzles, coloring books. I gave Hailey and Jaden their own bags with money, candy, and another gift. A necklace for Hailey and a tie for Jaden.
