For General Conference weekend (April 4-7) we went to Corpus Christi with the Andersons and the Petes. That is one weekend where Sam and Daniel don't have heavy responsibilities at church. We drove down on Thursday evening. Ron and I liked this trip, because it was only about 2.5 hours of driving. Our first stop was at Doc's Seafood, for dinner. Then we went to HEB to finish my grocery shopping. Then checked into the condo. On Friday everyone could do whatever they wanted. Shopping, beach, pool, etc. I went with Jaden, Hailey, and Ashley to a store that Hailey wanted to go to. It has the big shark out front. Everyone else went to the beach and then Ashley, Hailey, and Jaden caught up with everyone there. The main problem for Friday was "sunburns" 😒😎 On Saturday we watched General Conference and did beach and pool in between sessions, as well as meals. And Ashley, Hailey, Jaden, and I did another little shopping trip. The "Bleu Frog" was the best store that we went to. On Sunday, we listened to conference on the way home in the car- from 11-1. It was a great weekend... out of the house 😉 (Getting out of the house isn't a big deal for me, but it is for Ron- haha)
